Sir Robert Tristram Ricketts, 8th Baronet, who d shortly before 10 Nov
2007, aged 61, at St Christopher's Hospice, was b 17 Apr 1946, son of
Sir Robert Cornwallis Gerald St Leger Ricketts, 7th Bt (b 8 Nov 1917;
d 6 Oct 2005), by his wife the former Anne Theresa Cripps, CBE (B 12
Apr 1919; d 16 January, 1998). Chairman of the National Association of
Citizens' Advice Bureaux 1979-84, second daughter of the former Labour
Chancellor of the Exchequer, Sir Stafford Cripps, scion of the Barons
Parmoor. He was educ. at Winchester and Magdalene College, Cambridge
(MA); married 1969, Ann, dau of Eric William Charles Lewis, CB, by
whom he had issue, 1 son and 1 dau. The Baronetcy (cr 1828) devolves
upon his only son, Stephen Tristram, b 1974. Funeral and Thanksgiving
Service for his life at St. Stephen's Church, Dulwich, on Wednesday
21st November.
