__.Air Chief Marshal Sir Michael Gordon Beavis. Died peacefully at home in Cyprus on June 7th, 2020, aged 90. Widower to his beloved Joy, wonderful Dad to Lynn and Simon, brilliant father-in-law, much loved “G’pa”, and a man blessed with the ability to make true friendships with so many. The Funeral will take place in Pissouri Village on Monday June 15th at 11 a.m. Donations to the RAF Benevolent Fund, most welcome.

Air Marshal Sir Michael Beavis, who has died aged 90, was the pilot of the first Vulcan bomber to fly non-stop from England to Sydney in Australia. He later held senior posts in the RAF and in Nato....
