Sir David Rainald Lewthwaite, 5th baronet, died on 28 July at Broadgate,
aged 64.

He was born on 26 Mar 1940, the son of Brigadier Sir Rainald Gilfred
Lewthwaite, CVO, OBE, MC and his wife Margaret Elizabeth Edmonds, MBE.

In 1969 he married Diana Helena, twin daughter of WR Tomkinson, and they had
two daughters, Emma and Mary-Claire.

Sir David inherited the baronetcy on the death of his father in Apr 2003. A
brother predeceased him, and it is unclear to me whether there is an heir to
the title.

From Burke's it would appear not.

The 2nd baronet's younger brother died in WW I
and the 3rd and 4th baronets' younger brother in WW II,
each without issue.
